With clarinet performance and recording credits too numerous to mention and a veteran of the major national and international jazz venues, the name Jim Buchmann should be instantly recognized by anyone familiar with the trad jazz idiom. Jim once mentioned that he loved playing the Bass Sax. Ed requested he play Bass Sax on Rhythm King, Davenport and Chinatown, to capture some of his ability as well as the bass sax' unique sound.
