RANDY MORRIS - PIANO

Randy Morris is a triple threat musician. He plays excellent piano, trumpet and tenor banjo. Randy is from Southern California where he subbed at every Shakey's Pizza Parlor in the L.A. area on both banjo and piano. Randy moved to Florida when Walt Disney World opend in 1971. He was the pianist in the Rosie O'Grady's Jazz Band from its opening in July 1974 and while with that group he appeared with Joe Venuti and at many jazz festivals throughout the U.S. Has appeared on all-star sets with Urbie Green, Dick Cathcart, Wild Bill Davison, Eddie Miller, Red Callendar and other jazz artists. Randy has recorded several CD's, including the sucessful 'Christmas Cookies - Jazz Treats for the Holidays' on the Arbors Jazz label. Randy wrote and performed his own cruise ship act. He was the bandleader on the Mississippi Quen steamboat for one year. His credits include many appearances with the Mickey Finn show including Las Vegas and Atlantic City. He is currently appearing at festivals and on CD's with the Bill Allred Classic Jazz Band.

JIM BUCHMANN - BASS SAX

Jims performance credits as a musician include Rosie O'Grady's Jazz Band, and Uncle Yoke's Black Dog Jazz Band and in 1994 Jim recorded his feature album, "Sweet Substitute." With clarinet performance and recording credits too numerous to mention and a veteran of the major national and international jazz venues, the name Jim Buchmann should be instantly recognized by anyone familiar with the trad jazz idiom. Jim once mentioned that he loved playing the Bass Sax. Ed requested he play Bass Sax on Rhythm King, Davenport and Chinatown, to capture some of his ability as well as the bass sax' unique sound. ("Many thanks to Jim for this cameo appearance on our first CD..Ed")
