Magic City Jazz Band

The snapshot tunes of "Big Bear Stomp" and "Panama" are robust and well played. The banjo is placed well and Ed Cuneo presents some tasty banjo interludes. Hank Greve adds a powerful and precise lower brass to a band with a distinctive "2 beat feel. In my opinion, The Magic City JB exhibits a command of genre as well as depth of repertoir.
